Privacy Policy

Annoshot does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• No network connections. Annoshot makes no network requests. Your screenshots, annotations, and history never leave the Mac it is installed on.
• Local data only. Screenshot history (up to 20 entries) is stored on your Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/com.annoshot.app/ and can be deleted from the app at any time. Saved images are written only to the folder you choose.
• No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Annoshot contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party services, and never asks you to create an account.
• Permissions. macOS requires the Screen Recording permission to capture the screen. Annoshot uses it solely to take the screenshots you request. All image processing happens on your device.
• Purchases. Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. Annoshot itself receives no personal information about you.
