Privacy Policy

Lchika does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• No network connections. There is no networking code in the app, so neither your settings nor anything it observes leaves the Mac it is installed on.
• Local data only. The targets you register and your settings are stored in this Mac’s UserDefaults (com.lchika.app) and nowhere else, and can be removed from the app at any time.
• Running apps and processes. To decide whether to hold off sleep, Lchika reads the names of the running apps and processes every five seconds. What it reads is used for that decision and is neither stored nor transmitted.
• No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Lchika contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party services, and never asks you to create an account.
• Permissions. macOS requires the Accessibility permission only to use the Caps Lock LED indicator. Lchika uses it solely to switch the Caps Lock state and never reads what you type. It is off by default.
