Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026Nines does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
- No network connections. There is no networking code in the app, so neither your settings nor how you use your apps leave the Mac it is installed on.
- Local data only. Nines stores its settings, such as the apps in the nine slots, the links you add, the key that opens the ring and the folders it looks for apps in, in this Mac’s UserDefaults and nowhere else.
- App usage history. When you open the app list in Settings or reorder the slots by use, Nines reads the dates Spotlight keeps of when each app was used, on the Mac. The dates are used only to count days and order the slots; they are neither stored nor transmitted.
- Folders. Nines reads only the folders you add as places to look for apps, and only to read them.
- No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Nines contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party services, and never asks you to create an account.
- Permissions. Nines does not ask for Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Screen Recording, or any other permission.
This policy governs for Nines. For how information collected in connection with an app purchase or an enquiry is handled, see Senchan Company’s privacy policy.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
