Your nine apps, right around the pointer.
Nines is a macOS menu bar app that lays out your nine most-used apps in a ring around the pointer when you hold its key. Point at one and let go, and that app comes to the front.

What it does
Point and Let GoHold the key, nudge the pointer, and release. The app in that direction comes to the front, and is launched if it is not running.
Or Press a NumberThe key with 1 to 9 goes straight to that slot's app without showing the ring.
A Page for Each SlotAdd a link to a slot and it opens with that slot's app. A browser opens a set web page, and other apps open their own URLs.
Refill by How Much You Use ThemOne button in Settings reorders all nine slots by how many days each app was used lately. On first launch, the apps open at the time fill the slots from 1.
