PitattomacOS app

One key. The window snaps to an edge.

Pitatto is a macOS menu bar app that snaps the front window to an edge of the screen with ⌃⌘ and an arrow key, and maximizes it with ⌃⌘↩. Press the same key again and the size changes.

FUNCTION

What it does

Snap to Any Edge⌃⌘ and an arrow key move the front window to the edge it points at. Left and right take half the screen's width, up and down half its height.
Press Again for Another SizePressing the same key again steps through 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4. Once you move the window by hand, the next press starts from 1/2.
Maximize, With or Without Margins⌃⌘↩ fills the area between the menu bar and the Dock. It does not enter macOS full screen. Press it again and the window is centred with a margin on all four sides.
Keys for an Exact SizeBind up to 15 more keys that go straight to one size, such as left at 1/4 or maximized with a small margin. The default keys can be changed in Settings too.
